March 6 & 13, 2008, 6:00 - 9:00 PM

Learn the math and professional techniques needed to cut perfect mats every time. In this class, cut three 8x10 mats (yours to keep), plus one more (up to 16x20 inches) for a project of your choice. Please bring one piece of artwork, on paper only, up to 12 X 16 size. Material fee: $9 plus mat costs for final project.

April 3, 10, 17, & 24, 2008, 6:00 - 9:00 PM

Frame it yourself with the guidance of a professional framer and use of commercial equipment. Learn to choose mats and frames, mount art properly, chop and join moulding, cut mats and glass, and assemble and close the package. Materials fee will be collected the first evening of class. Fee starts at $49 for a custom-made 8x10 frame using conservation quality materials.
